Paradoxically, nowadays I find better security tools in Windows 10 than in OS X 10.11. Not having all drivers and plug-ins ready at the roll-out of a major OS overhaul is a common occurrence, nothing to shout about. until 10.11.3, which is now mature and stable. Depending on which Mac generation works best with which latest OS X, I have currently 10.8.6, 10.9.5, 10.11.3 on my machines.
